The economy has failed you. Costs are through the roof, and the money you make isn’t cutting it. Life is too expensive, and it’s destroying any future opportunity you thought you once had. Meanwhile billionaires and corporations post record profits on your back.
Mark knows this firsthand. He has built businesses. He knows the economy grows from people working hard every day, not from the corporate elite who extract wealth from you every single day. He is fighting for fairness, dignity, and a wage you can actually live on.
No single person should have the power to upend the American economy overnight with the stroke of a pen. But right now, one person does. Tariffs belong in Congress's hands, not the president's. Your cost of living should never depend on the president’s mood or his backroom business dealings. Mark will fight to return that power to the People's House where it belongs and bring stability back to your wallet.
The economy should work for everyone. Mark will make sure it does.

Healthcare is a right. We’ve made the mistake of talking about your health in terms of insurance and not of your well-being.
Mark knows first-hand how important healthcare is. He’s personally seen the expensive bills come in the mail. He knows how easy it is to lose everything because of medical bills. He knows how close normal people are to falling right over that edge. And to solve this, we wait and wait and wait while our current leaders promise a plan in two weeks, another two weeks, and another. It’s all just empty “concepts of a plan.”
Americans spend six trillion dollars a year on healthcare, more than any nation on earth. It’s the monopolistic companies who are increasing costs and making money off your suffering. That is not a system. That’s extraction.
Mark will change that. He'll fight for full transparency in medical costs and prices so you know what you're paying and why. He'll work toward Medicare for All, making healthcare costs fair, reasonable, and affordable for every American. He'll push for increased funding for our rural hospitals and clinics, facilities that have been cut to the bone and are disappearing from communities that need them most. No one should have to drive an hour for basic care.
No company, domestic or foreign, should ever enrich itself from an American's suffering. Mark will make sure the system serves people, not profits.

We used to say the American Dream was about owning your home. But now young families can’t even think about it. Corporations and are buying up single family homes across the country, and then they’re charging more and more and more to rent them back to you. Plainly, this isn't a housing market anymore. It's an extraction scheme, and you are paying the price.
Mark will fight to end it. He'll expand federal incentives for building affordable housing in underserved communities, restrict corporations from seizing single family homes, and protect renters from predatory companies. You run this economy.. You deserve to own a piece of it.
The American Dream belongs to you. Mark will take it back.

We are living through the most odious, reprehensible corruption our country has ever seen. Members of Congress trade stocks on information the public doesn't have. Politicians accept favors, gifts, and opportunities from the very industries they are supposed to regulate. The president of the United States made a billion dollars last year from all his side deals. We must hold these people accountable.
This is not about party. Corruption does not belong to one side or the other, and accountability shouldn’t either. If you’ve broken the law, you face the consequences. If you’ve abused your office or sold your vote to the highest bidder, Mark will be coming for accountability regardless of who you are or what party you belong to. The law must mean something again.
Mark doesn't take corporate PAC money, and he never will. His only obligation is to you. He'll push for real campaign finance reform so billionaires can't buy elections anymore. He'll fight for strict ethics rules and full financial transparency for every member of Congress. He'll push for a ban on stock trading in Congress. And he'll push for real term limits, because no one should make a career out of public service while getting rich from it.
America cannot afford leaders who ignore the struggles of their neighbors while cashing checks from the people who cause them. Mark doesn't serve a party. He doesn't serve donors. He serves you.

This congressional district sits on top of the country’s largest fresh water aquifer, and it’s running dry. Global heating is putting enormous strain on the land. Drought is commonplace. Our farmers hope for rain, rely on the aquifer, and watch the soil dry up, all the while watching their bills stack higher and higher.
Water is a shared resource that belongs to all of us.
Mark will fight to keep water in the hands of the people who depend on it, not the corporations that exploit it. He'll expand federal grants for water desalination and clean water infrastructure. But he knows that solving this crisis long term means investing in the science and infrastructure to replenish our aquifers, not just manage their decline. That means funding cutting edge research, building the systems to put water back into the ground, and treating this for what it is: a generational challenge that demands a serious answer. This is one of the most important moonshot programs of our time.
Every small town, every rural community, and every city in this district deserves water they can count on and trust.
Water is life. Mark will protect it.

America's strength has always come from the people who show up, work hard, and build something here. That includes immigrants. And right now, we are failing them.
Families are stuck in limbo for years. Workers are exploited because they have no legal protection. DREAMers, young people who grew up here, went to school here, and know no other home, are living under the threat of deportation for something that was never their choice. And for-profit detention centers are making money off human suffering while nothing gets resolved.
Our immigration system isn't just broken. It's cruel. And it stays that way because too many politicians would rather use it as a weapon than fix it. While our roads crumble, our water systems age, and our rural hospitals close, our government is pouring billions into detention camps. That is a choice. And it is the wrong one.
Mark will fight for real reform. A clear path to citizenship for law-abiding families. Visa programs that meet the actual labor needs of our farms and industries. An end to for-profit detention. And permanent protections for DREAMers, because this is their country too.
America must extend its promise to all who seek to contribute, not withhold it for politics.

For so many people in our district, high speed internet is still a luxury, not a reality. We are the wealthiest nation on earth yet we fail our people with this basic need of modern life.
Broadband access is not just about convenience. It is about opportunity. A student in Perryton, Texas deserves the same access to online learning as a kid in Dallas. A family in a rural community deserves the same access to telehealth as someone living near a hospital. A farmer in Borger, Texas deserves the same ability to compete and grow as anyone else. When we deny people broadband, we deny them a future.
The technology exists to connect every corner of this district at a fraction of what it once cost. What has been missing is the political will to make it happen.
Mark will fight to expand high speed broadband infrastructure to every rural community, small town, and underserved neighborhood in this district. Because in today's world, connectivity is not a privilege. It is the infrastructure of opportunity, and everyone deserves access to it.

Here in Congressional District 13, we don't have to be told how important farming and ranching are. We live it. Our farmers and ranchers feed America, drive our local economy, and represent a way of life worth fighting for.
But right now our very government is fighting against our farmers. Insane tariffs have increased their costs and destroyed their international markets. An illegal war has made fertilizer prices skyrocket. USDA budget cuts have destroyed lifelines for so many small farms.
And yes, we dangle bailouts to supposedly help our farmers, but that money simply goes to the creditors. It doesn’t nothing to bring our farmers back from the brink of bankruptcy.
Our family farms are facing the cold reality of losing the land that’s been with them for generations.
Mark will fight to change that. He'll work to reform federal farm programs so they deliver real, timely support to the farmers and ranchers who need it, not just the large corporate operations that don't. He'll push to expand access to new agricultural technologies, secure water rights for farming communities, and create pathways out of debt that lead to long term financial stability. He’ll work to break the monopolistic stranglehold large corporations have over our farmers’ supply chain and markets.
Family farming is not just an industry. It is the backbone of this district and the foundation of American food security. Mark will make sure Washington treats it that way.

Your personal information belongs to you. It’s who you are. It’s your very identity. But right now now you have almost no control over who has it, who sells it, or how companies can use it against you.
It’s spam calls, junk texts, and ads targeted directly to you. It’s new dynamic pricing where stores increase prices based on who you are. You didn’t agree to this, but the unregulated data brokers in this shadow underworld don’t care about that. They happily sell your name, your location, your medical history, your financial profile, your deepest desires, all to the highest bidder. All without your consent.
It’s not just corporations buying your information. It’s your own government who uses these brokers to track and monitor you all without warrants or judicial review.
The companies profiting from all this have the lobbyists and the money to buy off your representatives to keep it this way.
Mark will fight to end it. He'll push for strong federal consumer privacy laws that put you back in control of your own data. He'll move to regulate and dismantle the data broker industry that has gotten rich off your private life. And he'll work to protect Americans from government overreach, corporate surveillance, and the unchecked use of personal data by AI systems.
Your privacy is not a product. Mark will make sure the law treats it that way.

# Education
Every single child in this country deserves an education that builds opportunity for them, not one that sets them up for a lifetime of debt. Mark knows this firsthand. As an educator at both the high school and college level, he has taught students full of potential who are already calculating whether they can afford to pursue it their dreams.
Higher education is so expensive that a college degree has become a trap for millions of young Americans. Students graduate buried in debt, and that debt prevents them from buying home and delays them from starting a family. Debt crushes their future. It is not an accident. It is a system that profits from young people's ambition and punishes them for it.
At the same time, we are dismantling the very institutions that made American higher education the envy of the world. We’re annihilating research. We’re driving away international students who bring talent, innovation, and resources to our universities. We’re turning campuses into political battlegrounds instead of centers of discovery. The top universities in the world are no longer American. They’re Chinese.
We’re not valuing education. We’re hollowing it out.
Mark will fight to make community college free and accessible to every American. He will push to reduce the crushing burden of student debt. He will restore federal research funding and protect the international academic partnerships that strengthen our universities and our economy. And he will defend the independence of our educational institutions from political interference. He will always stand for academic freedom and independence, and he will always support critical thinking, honest inquiry, good faith debate, and the First Amendment promised of free speech.
Education is not a privilege for the few or a debt sentence for the many. It is the foundation of everything else. Mark will treat it that way.
