This past weekend I took Megan to an audition for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a play that the Amarillo Little Theater will show this December. Megan was keen to play one of the nasty, ratty kids, and made sure she noted that on her audition form.
But when the actual auditions happened, the directors only wanted Megan to read the sweet girl parts, something that quite annoyed her. Afterward, in the car home, she was grousing about it.
"I really wanted to try out for Imogene," she lamented.
"Oh, I know, Megan," I said, "but you're just too cute!"
"I know!" she exclaimed. "And it's ruining my career!"
Megan you are too much!
