I'm on a high-speed train (well sort of high-speed - compared to Japan, not so much) going from Washington D.C. to Boston.
It's much bumpier than I had expected.
We just pulled into Wilmington, Delaware. I know this because:
1. The announcer said "Wilmington, Delaware!" over the loudspeaker.
2. A life-sized standup cutout of Joe Biden greeted the train from the window of an office as we rolled into town.
There's a loud guy a few seats behind me. I think he sells pharmaceuticals. He talking about how this economic blow-up is great for him. Prozac sales are through the roof!
He's very happy about this. I wonder if he's medicated as well.
Hey, you know we're only 5 1/2 hrs from Boston! Why not make a side trip next time?
